We called Nairn Electrical to complete a stray voltage evaluation, they found a couple of issues around the shed that needed to be addressed. Once the repairs were made, there was a really big difference in the shed and how the cows behaved. The mastitis problem dropped right away and we dropped 40 minutes off our milking time with better cow flow.

Since we installed the Nairn Smart Valve we have not exceeded our ECAN consented flow rate.

Before we set up the flow control valve we had to constantly monitor the flow and adjust the gate valve to suit each pivot and swing arm position. It was a constant battle, took up loads of time and was a right pain. Now with the Nairn Smart Valve installed we get excellent flow, perfect. It just makes life easier and I don’t have to worry so much about the irrigation system.
